They meet ... Karl, Christian and Charles are playing in tribal/industrial outfit ICHOR...Daryl gets a call to mix them opening for Test Department. They immediately hit it off.

Ichor is basically three drummers and Moog Taurus pedals. Daryl speculates that a tribal Industrial rhythm section in a primitive rock and roll band would be dead cool. Einsturzende Neubauten meets Bo Diddley. Later they play together at points for deep goth outfit Masochistic Religion. Masochistic Religion relocates to Montreal and they leave the band.

Karl runs into Daryl at a party suggests they try the long ago suggested Tribal/Industrial/ Primitive rock n roll project they had talked about years earlier.

The Hyena Dog Robbery begins.
